website is the main portal by which I share my expertise and passion
for health, nutrition, and topics that are commonly known these days
as integrative medicine and functional medicine. With more than a
decade of clinical experience, three doctoral degrees, and
innumerable patient encounters and hours of post-graduate education,
I've created my books to serve as clinically-oriented repositories
of essential information and "clinical pearls" gained from professional training, personal
experience, seminars, and constant perusal of various research

Nutritional, Hormonal, and Microbial
Imbalances in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriasis
For this presentation, Dr Vasquez will apply a
naturopathic medicine and functional medicine
approach to assessing and treating patients with
rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and psoriasis are both
recognized as autoimmune diseases, and the two
conditions share very similar etiologies and
pathophysiology, and treatments are often very
similar as well, whether with drugs or with a
comprehensive interventional nutrition protocol. Dr
Vasquez has published extensively on systemic
inflammatory diseases, autoimmune conditions, and
other conditions commonly encountered in clinical
practice. Attendees will access a deep level of
understanding of these conditions, gain knowledge
about their clinical assessments, and will also
learn how to safely and effectively treat these
conditions using diet, nutritional supplementation,
botanical medicines, hormone balancing
("orthoendocrinology") and--when necessary--select
pharmaceutical drugs.
